Rory was creating artwork with markers and crayons before he was given the gift of speech at 7 ½ years of age. Fast forward to his middle school years. During the first Empowerment Conference for Special Olympics, Rory participated in an Art Therapy session. That marked the beginning of our story with ATE. Rory attended the ATE Summer Program for years while determinedly completing each challenging educational year. In order to attend college, a move to Lewes was necessary. Due to the Pandemic, he is now back in ATE, Zoom style.
